Spoonful of Cherries Brand Photoshoot BTS

So, I did a thing.

Building a brand involves SO much creating. To a logo and secondary logo, brand colors, typography…

Then further identifying feelings of the brand: the mission, values, target audience…

To building out a website, social media, the products or services…

Then finally to the brand photoshoot, where the collection of images showcases you, your brand, and your personality.

This last step is what I did recently for Spoonful of Cherries.

Guys, I am obsessed with how it turned out!

If you don’t already know, Spoonful of Cherries is a blog with content in three categories: Food & Entertainment, Home & DIY, and Interiors & Decor. I worked with my photographer to plan detail and headshots for each of these categories. We scheduled a three hour studio session at a local Minneapolis photo studio that we LOVE.

When I tell you it felt like we were moving in, I mean my car was stacked to the brim with boxes of pillows and throws, flowers and vases, and glassware and food! The three hour time slot was definitely necessary so we could unload and unpack, take photos, then clean up - GAHHH! So worth it.

I mean, it kind of looked like a mess in the beginning, but that’s all part of the process.

We started by tag teaming - setting up the living room space and the tablescapes simultaneously, and collaborating on each space.

Then, we got to shooting!

Honestly, this photoshoot was SO fun, and we had a blast making the vision come to life. Just a few weeks later, I received the full gallery!

Here are some of my favorite final photos in each category.
